-
Call 911 (or your local emergency number) - Tell them you suspect you were drugged. Do not wait to see if symptoms worsen.
-
Do NOT eat or drink anything else - Avoid more food, water, or any substances unless directed by medical staff.
-
Get to a hospital - Emergency physicians can assess your condition, run toxicology tests, and administer antidotes if appropriate (e.g., flumazenil for benzodiazepines, naloxone for opioids - but these require medical supervision).
-
Do not drive - Have someone else take you, or call an ambulance.
-
Preserve evidence - Save any remaining food/drink in a sealed container for law enforcement testing.
-
Contact police - Being drugged without consent is a criminal act. File a report as soon as you are safe.
