In this study, a randomized clinical trial was conducted to evaluate the impact of hypopressive exercise on postpartum quality of life. Health-Related Quality of Life was assessed using the SF-36v2 questionnaire. Results indicated significant improvements in postpartum well-being. Menopausal symptoms, postural balance, and functional mobility in postmenopausal women: A cross-sectional study. This study examined the relationship between menopausal symptoms, postural balance, and functional mobility in postmenopausal women. The study included 171 participants (mean age 57.18 ± 4.68 years) and assessed menopausal symptoms using the Menopause Rating Scale, postural balance with a stabilometric platform, and functional mobility through the Timed Up and Go test. Results indicated that greater severity of psychological menopausal symptoms was independently linked to poorer postural balance. The study concluded that psychological symptoms may negatively impact balance in middle-aged postmenopausal women. 7. Giovanni Iolascon et al. Association between prevalent fragility fractures and skeletal muscle function deficits in postmenopausal women: A case-control study. This study investigated the association between prevalent fragility fractures and skeletal muscle function deficits in postmenopausal women. Medical records of 121 women aged 50 or older were analyzed, dividing them into a fracture group (n = 77) and a non-fracture control group. The study assessed dysmobility syndrome and different types of skeletal muscle function deficits. Results showed a significantly higher risk of dysmobility syndrome in women with previous fragility fractures (adjusted OR = 2.46). Effects of Hypopressive Abdominal Gymnastics (HAG) on chronic non-specific low back pain: A randomized controlled trial. This study examined the effects of HAG on chronic non-specific low back pain. Forty patients were randomly assigned to an 8-week HAG program (two sessions per week) or a control group with no intervention. Results showed significant increases in diaphragm thickness and strength, along with reduced pain intensity, central sensitization, and disability in the intervention group (p < 0.05). Statistically significant improvements were observed in all measured outcomes in the exercise group after 4 and 12 weeks, respectively.
