This appears to be an umbilical venous catheter (UVC). Its tip projects around the diaphragm at roughly T8-T9, near the expected inferior vena cava-right atrial junction. On this single photographed AP film, it looks broadly acceptable and not clearly too deep in the right atrium or malpositioned in the portal/hepatic veins.

However, please have the NICU clinician/radiologist formally confirm it, ideally with bedside ultrasound, which is more reliable than X-ray for UVC tip location. Do not rely on this image alone before giving hyperosmolar TPN or vasoactive infusions.

The UVC tip appears to be at about T8-T9, near the IVC-right atrial junction, so it looks acceptable on this X-ray. Please confirm clinically or with ultrasound before using it for TPN or concentrated medications.
