• Buscopan's known significant drug interactions are with other anticholinergics (additive effects), amantadine, beta-adrenergic agents, antihistamines, and tricyclic antidepressants - NOT with PPIs.
• In fact, pantoprazole + hyoscine butylbromide is a studied combination used together in emergency departments for dyspeptic/abdominal pain (NCT01281501).

1. Bleeding risk with diosmin (Ovaa Shield DS): Health Canada has flagged that diosmin/hesperidin may increase bleeding risk and may raise levels of anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin) in the blood. If the patient is also on any blood thinner, this combination requires caution. Pan 40 + Buscopan are not blood thinners, so this is not a concern here.
2. Buscopan contraindications to check regardless of co-administration: Glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, prostatic enlargement, pyloric stenosis - these are contraindications to Buscopan itself, not interaction-related.
3. Pantoprazole's notable interactions (not relevant to this trio): Warfarin, HIV antiretrovirals (rilpivirine, atazanavir), iron supplements, methotrexate. None of these are in this drug combination.
