Where the post goes completely off the rails
1. All evidence is in mice, not humans
The actual published data (per MedChemExpress, the compound's supplier) shows:
- KY19382 at 0.1 mg/kg injected daily for 10 weeks increased tibia length in mice
- It delayed growth plate senescence in older mice and promoted growth plate maturation in young mice
There are zero published human trials for KY19382 in any context related to height or growth plates. PubMed returned no results. This compound has never been tested in humans for height increase.
2. "20cm in 6 months" is biologically impossible
Even during peak adolescent growth spurts - the fastest normal human growth - children gain roughly 8-10 cm per year (about 4-5 cm per 6 months). 20cm in 6 months would be nearly 4-5x faster than the maximum natural rate. No drug has ever produced this in humans.
3. Fused growth plates cannot be "reopened" in adults
Once the epiphyseal growth plates close (typically ages 16-21), the cartilaginous tissue is replaced by bone through ossification.
