1. Diclospan Plus

• Joint pain and swelling - osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis
• Muscle pain (myalgia) - body aches, sprains
• Back pain - lower back or spinal pain
• Dental pain - tooth extraction, dental abscesses
• Post-operative pain and swelling - after surgery
• Headache and mild migraine
• Fever (paracetamol component reduces temperature)
• Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)
• Inflammatory swelling - the serratiopeptidase enzyme breaks down dead tissue and reduces swelling faster

• Diclofenac (NSAID) - blocks prostaglandins to reduce pain and inflammation
• Paracetamol - relieves pain and brings down fever
• Serratiopeptidase - an enzyme that dissolves fibrin (scar tissue/dead tissue), reducing swelling and improving healing

2. Amoxon-500 (Amoxicillin 500 mg)

• Throat infections - tonsillitis, strep throat (sore throat, difficulty swallowing)
• Ear infections (otitis media) - ear pain, fluid, muffled hearing
• Chest / lung infections - bronchitis, pneumonia (cough, fever, breathlessness)
• Sinus infections (sinusitis) - facial pain, blocked nose, headache
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs) - burning urination, frequent urination
• Skin infections - wounds, abscesses, cellulitis
• Dental infections - tooth abscess, dental pain with swelling
• Stomach ulcers caused by H. pylori bacteria (used with another antibiotic)

⚠️ Note: These are prescription medicines. Always take them only as directed by your doctor - especially Amoxon-500, as stopping antibiotics early can lead to antibiotic resistance. Do not self-medicate.

1. Diclospan Plus (Diclofenac + Paracetamol + Serratiopeptidase)

🟡 Common Side Effects (happen frequently, usually mild)

🟠 Moderate Side Effects (less common, worth monitoring)

• Constipation - difficulty passing stools
• Skin rash or itching - mild allergic skin reaction
• Fluid retention / swelling - puffiness in legs or ankles
• Elevated blood pressure - due to NSAID effect on kidneys

🔴 Serious Side Effects (rare but stop medicine and see a doctor immediately)

• GI bleeding or ulcers - black/tarry stools, vomiting blood (Diclofenac causes GI side effects in ~20% of patients - Goodman & Gilman's Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics)
• Liver damage - yellowing of eyes/skin (jaundice), dark urine, severe fatigue. Significant liver enzyme elevation occurs in ~4% of diclofenac users. Liver function should be checked in the first 8 weeks of use.
• Kidney impairment - reduced urine output, swelling
• Heart problems - chest pain, rapid heartbeat (increased MI risk with long-term NSAID use)
• Severe allergic reaction - difficulty breathing, face/tongue swelling

⚠️ Take Diclospan Plus with food or milk to reduce stomach irritation. Avoid alcohol. Not for use in children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding mothers.

2. Amoxon-500 (Amoxicillin 500 mg)

🟡 Common Side Effects (mild, affect up to 1 in 10 people)

🟠 Moderate Side Effects

• Oral/vaginal thrush - white coating on tongue, itching (due to disruption of normal bacteria)
• Stomach bloating or gas
• Loss of appetite

🔴 Serious Side Effects (rare - seek emergency care immediately)

• Severe allergic reaction (Anaphylaxis) - difficulty breathing, swelling of face/lips/throat, hives. Stop immediately and go to emergency.
• Severe skin reactions - blistering rash, peeling skin (Stevens-Johnson syndrome - very rare)
• Clostridium difficile infection - persistent watery/bloody diarrhea, stomach cramps (can occur up to 2 months after finishing the course)
• Liver/gallbladder problems - pale stools, dark urine, yellowing of skin or eyes
• Seizures - very rare, mostly in people with kidney disease taking high doses
