Important Notes

  • Not recommended under 2 years without a doctor's prescription - chlorpheniramine and phenylephrine are not safe for infants in OTC doses.
  • Give with or without food, but food reduces stomach upset.
  • Do not use with other paracetamol-containing products (risk of overdose).
  • Avoid in children with liver disease, asthma, hypertension, or hyperthyroidism.
  • Drowsiness is common due to chlorpheniramine - avoid operating vehicles/machinery after administration in older children.
Always follow your pediatrician's prescription. Dosing in infants and young children should be confirmed by weight with a doctor, not estimated by age alone.
