tennis elbow symptoms self care NHS

Do you mean tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis/lateral elbow tendinopathy)?
It causes pain and tenderness on the outside of the elbow, often worse with gripping, lifting, opening jars, or wrist movements. It commonly follows repetitive hand or forearm activity, not necessarily tennis. The NHS overview advises reducing aggravating activity, using cold or heat packs, gradual exercises, and considering paracetamol or a topical anti-inflammatory gel if safe for you.
Seek clinical assessment sooner if it followed a significant injury, you cannot move the arm, or you have numbness/tingling, marked redness/swelling, fever, or persistent severe pain.
Tell me whether you want symptoms, exercises, treatment options, or a diagnosis check.
