Valves

ValveFinding
Mitral valveNormal leaflet morphology, no stenosis, no regurgitation
Aortic valveTrileaflet, normal opening, no stenosis (Vmax <2.0 m/s, mean gradient <5 mmHg), no regurgitation
Tricuspid valveNormal, trivial physiological regurgitation, estimated RVSP 25 mmHg
Pulmonary valveNormal, no stenosis, no regurgitation

Estimated RVSP / PA Pressure

  • TR jet velocity: ~2.3 m/s
  • Estimated RVSP: ~26 mmHg (normal: <35 mmHg)
  • No pulmonary hypertension

PERICARDIUM

No pericardial effusion. Pericardium appears normal.

CONCLUSION / IMPRESSION

  1. Normal left ventricular size and systolic function. Ejection fraction 55-65%.
  2. Normal left ventricular diastolic function. No evidence of elevated filling pressures.
  3. Normal left and right atrial size.
  4. Normal right ventricular size and systolic function. TAPSE and FAC within normal limits.
  5. No significant valvular stenosis or regurgitation.
  6. No pericardial effusion.
  7. Aortic root and ascending aorta normal in caliber.
  8. Estimated pulmonary artery systolic pressure normal.
Overall: Normal transthoracic echocardiogram.
