FMGE Revision Plan: Oct 21 to Oct 25, 2026

Goal: Deep revision of 8 subjects while completing one 300-question full mock/PYQ set daily.
Your priorities should be:
  1. Daily 300 questions + review is non-negotiable.
  2. Revise 2 major subjects each day in focused blocks.
  3. Use the separate 2-hour “other subjects” block for short subjects and weak areas.
  4. Do not try to reread every note. Revise high-yield material, errors, marked topics, PYQs, and volatile lists.

Daily timetable

Adjust the clock by 30-60 minutes if needed, but keep the order fixed.

Rules for the 300-question test

  • Attempt it as a real FMGE paper: no notes, no pauses, no searching answers.
  • Mark questions as:
    • Wrong
    • Correct but guessed
    • Correct and confident
  • Review only the first two categories deeply.
  • For every error, write only:
    • Topic
    • Why you got it wrong
    • One correct takeaway
  • Do not make long notes from explanations.

Sunday, Oct 25: Integrated Final Revision and Weak-Area Repair

This is not a day to begin new chapters.

Main Subject 1: Integrated clinical revision

Use your last four days of test errors and revise:
  • Medicine emergencies and common management algorithms
  • OBG emergencies
  • Pharmacology antidotes, adverse effects, drug of choice
  • Microbiology organisms, investigations, vaccines
  • PSM formulas and schedules

  • Biochemistry pathways and deficiencies
  • Histology, culture media, microscopy
  • Important imaging signs from Medicine/OBG

Other subjects, 2 hours

Do a rapid 15-minute cycle per subject:
  1. IM
  2. PSM
  3. OBG
  4. Microbiology
  5. Anatomy
  6. Physiology
  7. Biochemistry
  8. Pharmacology
Use only:
  • Error notebook
  • Marked MCQs
  • One-liners
  • Flashcards
  • Short tables

Best Revision Method for Every Subject Block

Use the 45-10-45-10 method:
  1. 45 minutes: Read high-yield notes or revise marked content.
  2. 10 minutes: Close the book and recall aloud or write key points.
  3. 45 minutes: Solve MCQs from that exact topic.
  4. 10 minutes: Log mistakes and revise the concepts behind them.
Do not passively highlight or reread large chapters.

Error Notebook Format

Keep one notebook or digital document only. Divide it into eight subject sections.
Write errors in this compact format:
TopicYour errorCorrect rule
PPHChose placenta previa managementFirst assess hemodynamic stability; uterine atony is the commonest cause
TB drugsForgot adverse effectEthambutol causes optic neuritis
ScreeningMixed up termsSensitivity is ability to detect disease among diseased people
Revise this notebook:
  • Next morning: 20-30 minutes
  • At night: 60-75 minutes
  • Oct 25: entire notebook

How to Handle Daily 300 Questions

If a full 300-question paper takes too long, do this:
  • First session: 150 questions timed
  • Second session: 150 questions timed
  • Keep total test time within 3 hours.
  • Review incorrect and guessed questions for 2 hours.
  • If review exceeds 2 hours, prioritize:
    1. Wrong clinical-management questions
    2. Repeated PYQ themes
    3. Weak-subject questions
    4. Guessed questions
Skip detailed review of easy correct questions.

Non-Negotiable Rules Until Oct 25

  • No new resource, no new coaching module, no random YouTube revision.
  • No long handwritten notes.
  • Revise from one main source plus PYQs/errors only.
  • Study actively: question, recall, explain, write.
  • Sleep at least 6.5-7 hours. Memory consolidation matters more than one extra exhausted study hour.
  • Every night, identify the top 10 facts you forgot and review them again the next morning.
  • Your mock score is feedback, not a verdict. The value is in error correction.
By Oct 25, you will have completed 1,500 questions, revised every listed subject at least twice through direct study plus question review, and built a final high-yield error list for the next revision cycle.

I can generate these as a printable PDF, an Anki-import CSV, or both. For thorough FMGE revision, I suggest 20-25 cards per subject across:
  1. Internal Medicine
  2. PSM
  3. Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  4. Microbiology
  5. Anatomy
  6. Physiology
  7. Biochemistry
  8. Pharmacology
Which format do you want: PDF, Anki CSV, or both?

According to you , if i master these 8 subjects just pyqs and pyts .how much mark can i score in fmge exam as a human😩

FMGE subject wise weightage 300 questions official information bulletin NBE 2026

You can realistically pass FMGE with these 8 subjects, but only if “master” means you can solve new variations of PYQ concepts, not just recognize repeated questions.
These subjects account for roughly 170 of 300 questions:
SubjectApprox. questions
Internal Medicine33
PSM30
OBG30
Anatomy17
Physiology17
Biochemistry17
Pharmacology13
Microbiology13
Total170
FMGE passing mark is 150/300. So these eight subjects cover enough of the paper to make passing possible, but there is little room for relying only on exact PYQ repetition.

Realistic score ranges

Your actual command over the 8 subjectsLikely score range
Read PYQs once, remember some answers105-125
Strong PYQ/PYT revision, moderate concept clarity125-145
Master concepts, images, one-liners, clinical variants, and daily error review145-165
Very strong 8 subjects plus 2 hours daily for remaining subjects155-175+
A practical calculation:
  • If you get 80% of the 170 questions from these subjects right: about 136 marks
  • You then need only 14 marks from the other 130 questions to pass.
  • But on the real paper, not every question will be direct PYQ. So target 155-160 in mocks, not merely 150.

My honest advice

Do not depend solely on PYQs and PYTs as memorized answers. Use them as a map of repeatedly tested concepts.
For every wrong or guessed PYQ, learn:
  1. Why your choice was wrong
  2. The correct concept
  3. One common variation of the same topic
  4. The related image, investigation, drug adverse effect, or management step
Your 2-hour daily “other subjects” block matters a lot. Even a basic revision of Pathology, Surgery, Pediatrics, FMT, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radiology, and Anaesthesia can give you the safety marks that convert 145 into 155+.

Bottom line

If you truly master these 8 subjects, do daily 300-question practice, analyze errors, and give those 2 hours honestly to remaining subjects, 150-165 is a realistic human target.
Do not chase perfection. Chase a stable 155+ mock average over your last 5 papers. That is the safer indicator that you are ready.
