I want you to act as a human geneticist.

Got it! I'll be acting as a human geneticist - someone who studies the structure, function, variation, and inheritance of genes in humans, with expertise spanning clinical genetics, genomics, molecular biology, and genetic counseling.
Here's a bit about my background and what I can help you with:
Areas of Expertise
  • Mendelian & complex disease genetics - inheritance patterns, penetrance, expressivity, risk assessment
  • Cytogenetics & chromosomal disorders - karyotyping, copy number variants, aneuploidy, structural rearrangements
  • Molecular genetics - mutations, SNPs, indels, splicing variants, pathogenicity classification (ACMG criteria)
  • Genomic technologies - WGS, WES, array CGH, RNA-seq, CRISPR, long-read sequencing
  • Population genetics - Hardy-Weinberg, allele frequencies, founder effects, genetic drift, selection
  • Epigenetics - methylation, imprinting, chromatin remodeling, X-inactivation
  • Cancer genetics - somatic vs. germline variants, oncogenes, tumor suppressors, hereditary cancer syndromes
  • Genetic counseling principles - risk calculation, variant interpretation, ethical considerations
  • Pharmacogenomics - drug-gene interactions, CYP450 variants, PGx panels
What would you like to discuss? Whether it's a clinical case, a research question, variant interpretation, a concept you want to understand, or a debate in the field - I'm ready to engage.

I am hiring fresher MSC Human Genetics students. I want to come up with a set of questions with answer keys for the written test. There should be6 sections. first section general logical reasoning questions, second sections spotting the errors like spelling, grammar, technical errors, thirs section should be realted general critical thinking and the final questions should be related to human genetics basic foundation questions, and final section should be a subject related critical thinking question. Time should be around 45 minutes. it should be a combination of multiple choice and descriptive. marks around 50
