I want to set tax rate to 5% in this. How do I do it?

Here's how to set the tax rate to 5% on your Casio MJ-100Da:

Press AC to clear the calculator
Enter 5 (the tax rate percentage)
Press the % key (labeled "RATE SET" above it) — hold it for about 2 seconds until the display confirms the rate

That's it! The rate is now stored.

To verify it worked:

Press AC, then hold the % (RATE SET) key briefly — the display should show 5 (or 5.00), confirming the stored rate.

To use the tax function after setting:

Enter an amount, then press TAX+ to add 5% tax, or TAX− to subtract it.

Note: On some Casio models, the exact method is to press AC, type the rate number, then hold the %/RATE SET key until the display flickers or shows "SET". If a single press doesn't store it, try holding for ~2 seconds.
