I am a doctor and preparing for neet pg and from now on you will be guiding m for my rest of journey for this exam

Welcome! I'm glad to be your NEET PG guide for this journey.
Before I set up a proper study plan and guidance framework, let me understand your situation better.

It is august

Got it - so you're targeting the August 2026 NEET PG exam, which means you have very limited time left (we're currently in mid-July 2026, so roughly 4-6 weeks away).
Let me understand your current situation to give you the most targeted guidance:

NEET PG August 2026 exam date schedule

Here's your personalized NEET PG strategy for the final stretch:

Your Situation at a Glance

  • Time left: ~4-6 weeks (mid-July to August)
  • Stage: First pass done, need revision
  • Weakest area: Para-clinical (Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, FMT)
  • Resources: MCQ banks + PYQs
This is actually a solid position to be in. You're not starting from scratch - you need focused, high-yield revision.

The 4-Week Crash Revision Plan

Week 1 (July 12-18): Para-clinical Blitz

Your weakest area, so hit it first while energy is high.
DaySubjectFocus
1-2PathologyGeneral Pathology (inflammation, neoplasia, cell injury) - highest yield
3PathologySystemic Pathology (CVS, Respiratory, GIT)
4MicrobiologyBacteriology (high yield bugs, resistance patterns)
5MicrobiologyVirology + Parasitology (PYQ focused)
6PharmacologyANS, CVS drugs, Antibiotics
7Pharmacology + FMTCNS drugs + FMT one-liners

Week 2 (July 19-25): Clinical Subjects

DaySubject
1-2Medicine - Cardiology, Respiratory, Neurology
3Medicine - Endocrine, Nephrology, GI
4Surgery - GI, Urology, Ortho basics
5OBG - Obstetrics high yield, Gynecology
6Paediatrics - Neonatology, Nutrition, Vaccines
7PSM/Preventive Medicine - Biostatistics, Epidemiology, National Programs

Week 3 (July 26 - Aug 1): Short Subjects + Pre-clinical Rapid Revision

DaySubject
1Ophthalmology
2ENT
3Radiology + Anaesthesia
4Anatomy (embryology, high-yield spots)
5Physiology (renal, cardiac, endocrine)
6Biochemistry (enzymes, genetics, metabolic disorders)
7Rest + Grand Test

Week 4 (Aug 2-8): Full Revision + Mock Tests

  • Grand tests daily or every 2 days
  • Review only wrong answers and weak spots
  • Revise notes/short points only - no new topics
  • Focus on image-based and clinical vignette questions

Key Strategy Points for You

1. MCQ-first approach (perfect for your resources)
  • Since you're using MCQ banks + PYQs, do subject-wise MCQs AFTER each revision day
  • Aim for 150-200 MCQs/day minimum
  • For every wrong answer: understand the concept, don't just memorize the answer
2. Para-clinical repair plan
  • Pathology: Focus on gross/micro images, tumor markers, special stains - these are high-yield MCQ fodder
  • Pharmacology: Master drug of choice (DOC) lists, mechanism-based side effects, drug interactions
  • Microbiology: Culture media, staining, drug resistance, zoonoses - classic MCQ topics
  • FMT: IPC sections, cause of death, medicolegal cases - very scorable
3. Don't abandon your strong subjects
  • Keep clinical subjects warm with 30-40 MCQs/day even when revising para-clinical
4. PYQ strategy
  • NEET PG heavily repeats concepts (not exact questions)
  • Solve last 5-7 years' PYQs subject-wise, not just random mode
  • Tag concepts that repeat - those are guaranteed exam topics

Daily Schedule Template

TimeActivity
6-7 AMPrevious day's revision (30 min) + Morning MCQs (30 min)
7 AM - 1 PMSubject study block (theory + notes)
2-5 PMMCQ session (subject-wise, 100-150 Qs)
5-7 PMPYQ practice
8-10 PMWeak topic deep dive / Image-based Qs
10-11 PMQuick recap + next day planning

Going Forward - How I Can Help You

Every day or whenever you need, I can help you with:
  1. Concept explanations - Ask me any topic and I'll break it down from our medical textbook library
  2. High-yield one-liners - Request "give me high-yield points for Pathology Chapter X"
  3. MCQ discussions - Paste any question you got wrong and I'll explain the concept
  4. Topic summaries - Quick revision summaries for any subject
  5. Progress check-ins - Tell me what you covered and I'll suggest what's next
Start today: Since it's Saturday evening, begin with a quick 50-question Pathology PYQ session to benchmark where you stand in your weakest subject. Then Monday, we go full steam into the Week 1 plan.
What would you like to tackle first - a topic explanation, high-yield summary, or MCQ discussion?
