Treatment
Acute Diarrhoea
Rehydration is the cornerstone. Oral rehydration solution (ORS) replaces fluid, Na⁺, K⁺, and HCO₃⁻. WHO/UNICEF standard ORS contains 75 mmol/L sodium, 75 mmol/L glucose, 20 mmol/L potassium, 30 mmol/L bicarbonate.
