alopecia AND topical treatment

Finding Sources
The link is for Dermatouch Rosemary Water Hair Growth Spray with rosemary extract, Redensyl, AnaGain, and Procapil.
Short answer: It is okay as a cosmetic scalp spray, but I would not rely on it for meaningful hair regrowth.
  • Rosemary: limited human evidence. It may help scalp comfort or reduce breakage for some people, but it is not proven to regrow hair reliably.
  • Redensyl, AnaGain, Procapil: commonly marketed hair-growth ingredients, but the independent clinical evidence is much weaker than for established treatments. Product claims are stronger than the evidence.
  • It may be reasonable to try if you want a non-prescription, low-cost option, but judge it only after 3-6 months and stop if there is itching, burning, rash, or worse shedding.
  • Patch-test first and avoid applying to an irritated or flaky scalp.
For male or female pattern hair loss, topical minoxidil has much better evidence for slowing hair thinning and supporting regrowth. Dermatology texts list topical minoxidil among standard treatments for pattern alopecia, whereas this spray is not an established medical treatment. A recent systematic review also continues to evaluate minoxidil-based therapies, not rosemary/Redensyl combinations (PubMed PMID 39425514).
If your hair fall is sudden, patchy, associated with scalp scaling, or follows illness, weight loss, anemia, thyroid symptoms, or a new medicine, see a dermatologist rather than buying more hair products.

AAD hair loss supplements biotin iron deficiency hair loss minoxidil androgenetic alopecia

No supplement is best for hair regrowth unless you have a proven deficiency. Most hair supplements cannot stop genetic hair thinning or reliably grow new hair.
The product in your photos, Logihair Men, contains biotin, iron, zinc, B vitamins, amino acids, and very small amounts of collagen. It may help only if your diet or blood tests show a deficiency. It is not a strong treatment for male-pattern thinning.
Important: this tablet contains iron 12 mg. Do not take iron long term unless a doctor confirms low ferritin/iron or anemia. Unnecessary iron can cause side effects and, at excess levels, harm. Dermatologists recommend biotin, iron, or zinc only when blood testing shows a deficiency (AAD guidance).

What works better for thinning and regrowth

Your problemBest-supported option
Receding temples, thinning crown, gradual male-pattern hair lossTopical minoxidil 5% regularly applied to the scalp. It can reduce further loss and stimulate regrowth, but needs at least 6 months and must be continued.
Male-pattern hair loss needing stronger treatmentDiscuss finasteride with a dermatologist. It is prescription treatment and can be effective, but has possible sexual, mood, and fertility-related side effects, so it needs an informed decision.
Diffuse shedding after illness, stress, crash dieting, weight lossFind and correct the trigger. Supplements only help if testing confirms a deficiency.
Low ferritin/iron, B12, vitamin D, zinc, protein, thyroid issueTake the specific treatment advised after tests, not a random combination supplement.
For pattern hair loss, minoxidil is a standard evidence-based option and results need ongoing use. Stopping it can lead to renewed shedding within months. (AAD hair-loss treatment information)

My practical recommendation

  1. Do not depend on Logihair Men alone for new hair growth.
  2. If you have gradual thinning at the front/crown, consider topical minoxidil 5% and see a dermatologist to confirm the type of hair loss.
  3. Before using a supplement containing iron, ask for: CBC, serum ferritin, TSH, vitamin D, vitamin B12. Zinc may also be appropriate depending on diet and symptoms.
  4. Eat adequate protein daily. Hair is protein, and low protein intake can worsen shedding.
  5. See a dermatologist promptly if loss is sudden, patchy, associated with itching/scaling, or you are losing eyebrow/beard hair.
A 2024 systematic review found associations between some micronutrient deficiencies and androgenetic alopecia, but that does not mean supplements help when levels are already normal (PMID 39440586).
