  • Image 3 (grainy quality): Distal radial and ulnar growth plates appear open/unfused, with a visible lucent physeal line. → Suggests active growth, consistent with 13-17 years.
This discrepancy is likely due to image quality differences - Image 3 is a low-quality thermal/photocopy print that may create artefactual lucent lines mimicking open physes. Image 1 appears to show a more mature skeleton.
2. Pelvis / Hips (Images 2 & 4)
Both pelvic views consistently show:
  • Triradiate cartilage: Fully fused (normally closes ~13-15 years)
  • Proximal femoral epiphyses (head + trochanters): Completely fused (~16-19 years)
