Characteristic features for general medicine diseases according to dr SN Chugh textbook of clinical medicine and Davidson book of medicine and harrsison book of medicine and mention which diseases it is found in
Reading File
“Characteristic features” across general medicine is a very large topic. It can be organized as a high-yield disease-identification guide:
Cardiovascular - pulse and JVP patterns, characteristic murmurs, peripheral signs, ECG and X-ray clues
Infectious diseases - characteristic fever patterns, rashes, eschars, organ involvement
Dermatology and multisystem disorders - hallmark lesions and syndrome associations.
For each disease, I can present a table with: disease | characteristic or hallmark feature | where/how it is found | important differential clue. I will distinguish a truly characteristic finding from a merely common one, since many signs are not specific.
