Is orrus free to use

I'm Orris (you might have seen a slight spelling variation!), an AI assistant. Here's what I can tell you about access:
  • I'm provided through this platform, and whether I'm free to use depends on the service or app you're accessing me through.
  • If you're using a platform or product that has integrated me, the pricing is set by that platform - it could be free, freemium, or paid.
  • There's no universal "Orris subscription" - access terms are determined by whoever deployed me for you.
To get the exact answer, check the pricing or terms page of the app/website you're currently using to chat with me. If you accessed me directly through a specific service, their support team can confirm whether there are any costs involved.

Are you paid or free app

I'm Orris, an AI assistant — I'm not an app myself, but rather an AI that can be embedded into different platforms or products.
Whether you're paying or not depends entirely on which platform or service you're using right now to talk to me. I don't have visibility into the billing setup of the platform you're on.
To find out:
  • Look for a pricing or subscription section in the app/website you're using
  • Check if there's a free tier mentioned during sign-up
  • Contact the support team of the platform you're accessing me through
If you let me know which app or website you're using to chat with me, I might be able to help point you in the right direction!

Pectoralis Major

The pectoralis major is the largest and most superficial muscle of the anterior chest wall. It directly underlies the breast, separated from it by deep fascia and loose connective tissue of the retromammary space.

Origin (3 Parts)

PartOrigin
Clavicular headMedial half of the clavicle
Sternocostal headSternum + costal cartilages of ribs 1-7; anterior surface of sternum
Abdominal partAnterior layer of the rectus sheath / aponeurosis of external oblique

Insertion

  • Lateral lip of the intertubercular sulcus (bicipital groove) of the humerus
  • The tendon twists on itself: fibers with a superior origin insert lower/more anteriorly; fibers with an inferior origin insert higher

Actions

ActionPart Responsible
Adduction of armEntire muscle
Medial (internal) rotation of armEntire muscle
Flexion of armClavicular + sternocostal parts
Flexion from extended positionClavicular head primarily
Extension from flexed position (against resistance)Sternocostal head
Assists respirationWhen shoulder girdle is fixed

Innervation

  • Medial pectoral nerve (C8-T1) - mainly to the sternocostal head
  • Lateral pectoral nerve (C5-C7) - mainly to the clavicular head
  • Together they cover the full nerve root range of C5-T1

Blood Supply

  • Thoraco-acromial artery (pectoral branch) - primary supply
  • Lateral thoracic artery - supplementary

Key Clinical Points

  • Its inferior margin forms the anterior axillary fold
  • A rupture of pectoralis major is a sports injury, most common in weightlifters during bench press; the sternocostal head tears most often at the musculotendinous junction or humeral insertion
  • The muscle is used as a pedicled flap (pectoralis major myocutaneous flap) in reconstructive head and neck surgery, supplied by the pectoral branch of the thoraco-acromial artery
  • In pectoralis major transfer procedures (e.g., for irreparable subscapularis tears), the sternal head is detached and transferred to restore internal rotation
