Device error 7095
Scanner cannot operate. Screen transportation communication error.
The cassette will eject, but the imaging plate/screen will not be erased. Manually erase it after the error is acknowledged.
-
Do not use the cassette for another exposure until it has been manually erased.
The image plate may still contain the previous latent image, creating an artifact or image carryover.
-
Click OK to eject the cassette.
-
Label and set aside the cassette. Then erase it using the approved manual erase procedure for your CR system before returning it to service.
-
Check simple external causes:
- Ensure the cassette is the correct type and is not bent, cracked, wet, or heavily contaminated.
- Remove any foreign object or damaged cassette from the reader area only if it is externally accessible and permitted by your local procedure.
- Confirm all reader covers/doors are fully closed.
- Check the reader is powered, connected, and has completed startup.
-
If your department permits it, perform a controlled restart:
- Finish/eject any cassette first.
- Close the application.
- Power down the CR reader normally.
- Wait about 30 to 60 seconds.
- Power it on and allow it to fully initialize before scanning a known-good empty/erased cassette.
-
If error 7095 returns, remove the reader from clinical use and call authorized service.
Do not repeatedly feed cassettes, force a cassette, or open internal panels. The message itself indicates a service-level transport communication problem.
