The ac is fitted like this, is this the reason its leaking water from front
Checking Date & Time
Yes, the tilted installation is almost certainly the primary cause of the water leak from the front.
Looking at the image, the Daikin indoor unit is visibly tilted forward/outward from the wall rather than being level or slightly rear-tilted. Here's why this causes leaking:
Why Tilt Causes Front Leaking
The condensate drain pan relies on gravity. The drain pan sits at the bottom of the indoor unit and is designed to collect condensation from the evaporator coil. For water to flow toward the drain outlet (which exits at the rear/side toward the pipe), the unit must be:
Level, or
Slightly tilted backward (rear side 1–2° lower than front)
When the unit tilts forward (as yours clearly does), water in the drain pan flows toward the front instead of toward the drain outlet. It then overflows from the front of the unit — exactly the symptom you're seeing.
Other Contributing Factors to Check
Even after re-leveling, also verify:
Clogged drain pipe — a blocked drain forces water to back up and overflow regardless of tilt. Get it flushed with pressurized water or a wet-dry vacuum.
Dirty air filter / evaporator coil — heavy ice buildup can overwhelm the pan when it melts.
Low refrigerant — causes the coil to freeze and then flood the pan during defrost.
Fix
Have a technician re-mount the bracket so the unit is level or has a very slight backward slope (toward the wall). The mounting bracket on the wall looks like it may be uneven — this is what needs to be corrected. This is a straightforward re-installation job.
