Diagnosis

Clinical Criteria

Definitive diagnosis of Behcet disease requires recurrent oral ulcerations (aphthous or herpetiform) plus two of the following:
  • Recurrent genital ulcerations
  • Ocular lesions (uveitis or retinal vasculitis)
  • Skin lesions (erythema nodosum, pseudofolliculitis, papulopustular lesions, acneiform nodules)
