India UIP National Immunization Schedule 2025 6 weeks 10 weeks vaccines official

Assuming the Indian UIP/National Immunization Schedule:
A 10-week-old who missed the 6-week visit should receive the first doses today, not both 6-week and 10-week doses together:
  • bOPV-1
  • Pentavalent-1 (DPT + Hep B + Hib)
  • fIPV-1
  • Rotavirus vaccine dose 1
  • PCV-1
Then schedule the next doses after a minimum interval of 4 weeks:
  • At about 14 weeks: bOPV-2, Pentavalent-2, Rotavirus-2, and PCV-2
  • Four weeks later: bOPV-3, Pentavalent-3, Rotavirus-3, and fIPV-2, according to the local UIP protocol and product used.
Do not restart any vaccine series, and do not give dose 1 and dose 2 of the same multidose vaccine on the same day just to “catch up.” Check the vaccination card for birth doses and document all vaccines given. The MoHFW routine immunization manual lists the 6-week vaccines and supports catch-up using appropriate minimum intervals.
