IBW (Ideal Body Weight) Kaise Nikaalte Hain?

IBW calculate karne ke liye sabse common formulas hain:

1. Devine Formula (Sabse Widely Used)

Mardo ke liye (Males):
IBW = 50 kg + 2.3 kg Γ— (height in inches - 60)
Aurton ke liye (Females):
IBW = 45.5 kg + 2.3 kg Γ— (height in inches - 60)

2. Simple Rule of Thumb

Males:
  • 5 feet = 50 kg
  • Har inch ke liye +2.3 kg add karo
Females:
  • 5 feet = 45.5 kg
  • Har inch ke liye +2.3 kg add karo

Example:

Ek mard jo 5 feet 7 inches (67 inches) ka hai:
  • IBW = 50 + 2.3 Γ— (67 - 60)
  • IBW = 50 + 2.3 Γ— 7
  • IBW = 50 + 16.1
  • IBW = 66.1 kg

Height ko Inches mein Convert karna:
