Now I have everything I need to build a solid plan. Let me construct this properly.
Key context:
  • Today: July 15, 2026 (Wednesday)
  • FMGE December 2026 session: typically held in December (exact date not yet announced, but historically mid-December)
  • You have classes 08:00-18:00 every day = ~10 hours occupied
  • Available study window: roughly 19:00-01:00 (6 hours/day) - realistically ~4-5 focused hours after fatigue
  • Time available: ~5 months (July 15 - December 14, 2026) = ~22 weeks = ~154 days
  • PrepLadder Version X = video lectures + Qbank + rapid revision
  • 19 FMGE subjects across 4 profs

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ FMGE Preparation Schedule (July 15 - December 2026)

Your daily reality:

  • Weekends: same class schedule assumed (you said everyday), but use weekend mornings 06:00-07:30 as a bonus 1.5 hrs
  • Effective study: ~5 hrs on weekdays, ~6 hrs on weekends
  • Total available: ~155 days ร— avg 5 hrs = ~770 hours

PrepLadder Version X Usage Strategy

FeatureHow to Use
Video LecturesWatch at 1.5-2x speed. Pause and make 1-page notes per topic.
QbankDo subject-wise first, then Grand Tests. Aim 80%+ before FMGE.
Rapid RevisionUse in Phase 4. Do NOT watch RR before finishing the full lecture once.
FlashcardsReview daily - 15 min before sleeping. Prioritize mnemonics.
Previous Year PapersDo at least 3 full FMGE PYP sets in Phase 4.
Performance AnalyticsCheck weakest chapters every Sunday and add them to Monday's session.

Weekly Rhythm (Every Week)

DayFocus
Mon-FriNew topics (video + Qbank as scheduled)
Saturday morning (6-7:30am)Qbank from the week's subjects (50-60 Qs)
Sunday morning (6-7:30am)Revision of the week + analytics check
Every 2 weeksMini Grand Test (50 Qs mixed from all covered subjects)

Important Notes

  1. FMGE December 2026 date is not yet officially announced. Based on the June 2026 session (June 28) and the historical pattern, December session is typically held between December 7-20. This plan targets December 14 as a buffer. Adjust the final sprint week once NBEMS releases the official date.
  2. Do not skip class for FMGE prep - your final semester results matter for your degree and internship.
  3. If you fall behind by more than 5 days, skip Anesthesia and Radiology deep-dives - use PrepLadder RR only for those.
  4. The passing score for FMGE is 150/300 (50%) - this plan targets 180-200+ to give you a safe margin.
  5. Keep a "pending topics" sticky note on your phone. Any topic you skip during class week goes there and gets covered Saturday morning.
