From this photo, I do not see an obvious displaced fracture or dislocation. The knee alignment looks broadly maintained, and the joint spaces do not look severely narrowed.

But this is a photograph of an X-ray film, not the original images or radiology report, so it cannot reliably rule out subtle fractures, early arthritis, meniscal tears, ligament injuries, or cartilage problems. Those soft-tissue injuries often do not show on an ordinary X-ray and may need examination and sometimes MRI. The AAOS explanation of meniscus imaging notes that MRI is used to assess knee soft tissues.

Please have the formal report reviewed by an orthopedist or radiologist, especially if there is pain, swelling, locking, giving way, or difficulty walking.

Seek urgent care today if you cannot bear weight, the knee looks deformed, it is very swollen/hot/red, you have fever, numbness, or severe worsening pain.
