I use Stripe for our business and I want to know that what is my settlement cycle and in which account my funds are getting settled. So how can I check that on Stripe dashboard?

how to check settlement cycle and bank account in Stripe dashboard 2025

Here is a clear, step-by-step guide to check both your payout/settlement cycle and the bank account your funds are going to, all within the Stripe Dashboard.

Checking Your Settlement Cycle (Payout Schedule)

  1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Click on Settings (gear icon) in the left sidebar.
  3. Under the Business settings section, select "Bank accounts and scheduling" (sometimes shown as "Payouts").
  4. You'll see your current Payout schedule, which typically shows one of the following:
    • Daily - funds are paid out every business day
    • Weekly - funds are paid out on a specific day each week
    • Monthly - funds are paid out on a specific day each month
    • Manual - you trigger payouts yourself
  5. You can also change the schedule here if your account is eligible.
Note: When you first start processing live payments, Stripe typically holds your initial payout for 7-14 days before your regular schedule begins. This is standard for new accounts.

Checking Which Bank Account Receives the Funds

On the same page (Settings > Bank accounts and scheduling):
  1. You'll see a list of all linked bank accounts, showing the last 4 digits of each account number.
  2. The account marked as "Default" is where your payouts are currently being sent.
  3. If you have multiple currencies enabled, each currency may have its own linked bank account.
  4. To view or edit a bank account, click "Edit" next to the account entry.

Viewing Past and Upcoming Payouts

  • Go to Dashboard > Balances (left sidebar) to see:
    • Your current available balance
    • Upcoming payout amount and estimated arrival date
  • Go to Dashboard > Payouts (under Balances) to see:
    • A full history of all past payouts
    • The exact bank account each payout was sent to
    • The status (paid, in transit, failed, etc.)
