🩺 Vitiligo (વિટિલિગો / ધોળો દાઘ / શ્વેત કુષ્ઠ)
તમારી આંગળી પર જે સફેદ ડાઘ દેખાય છે, તે Vitiligo (વિટિલિગો) હોવાની સંભાવના ઘણી વધારે છે. આ ઉપરની ક્લિનિકલ ફોટો સાથે ઘણી સામ્ય ધરાવે છે.
Vitiligo શું છે?
Vitiligo એ ચામડીની એક autoimmune (સ્વ-પ્રતિરક્ષા) બીમારી છે, જેમાં ત્વચામાં melanocytes (રંગ આપતા કોષો) નાશ પામે છે, અને ત્વચા પર દૂધ-સફેદ ડાઘ (depigmented patches) પડી જાય છે.
🔍 કારણો (Causes)
- Autoimmune: શરીર પોતાના melanocytes પર હુમલો કરે છે
- Genetic: પરિવારમાં કોઈને હોય તો 7% chance
- Oxidative stress: ત્વચા પર રાસાયણિક ઈજા
- Trauma/Koebner phenomenon: ઈજા, બળતરા, ઘસારા બાદ ડાઘ
- Thyroid, Diabetes જેવા autoimmune રોગ સાથે જોડાણ
- Emotional stress, sunburn, pregnancy — ટ્રિગર બની શકે
📍 ક્યાં-ક્યાં થઈ શકે?
- આંગળીઓ (acrofacial type — ખૂબ સામાન્ય)
- ચહેરો, આંખ ફરતે, હોઠ
- હાથ-પગ, ઘૂંટણ, કોણી
- ગળો, ખભા

- Thyroid function test (TSH) અને ANA test કરાવવા ઉચિત
- Dermatologist (ચામડીના ડૉક્ટર) ને ચોક્કસ બતાવો — ઘરે જ diagnose ન કરો
