No Access to Paywalled or Private Data
I cannot access private databases, subscription journals (beyond what PubMed provides), personal records, or proprietary systems.
Math Computation Can Drift
For complex symbolic math or long arithmetic chains, I can make errors. I have a code sandbox to run Python for precise computation - I use it when accuracy matters.
No Real-Time Data by Default
Stock prices, live sports scores, breaking news - I need to run a web search for these, and my budget for searches per session is finite.
I Can Hallucinate
On topics outside my strong domains, or when asked for very specific facts (exact statistics, obscure citations, precise dates), I can generate plausible-sounding but wrong answers. I try to flag uncertainty, but I'm not perfect. Always verify high-stakes medical, legal, or financial information with authoritative sources.
No Memory Between Sessions
Each conversation starts fresh. I don't remember past chats unless you re-provide context.
Image Generation is One-Way
I can generate images and read/analyze images you provide, but I cannot edit an existing image pixel-by-pixel or use tools like Photoshop.
