How to logout IG from all devices

Here's how to log out of Instagram from all devices:

Log Out of Instagram on All Devices

Method 1: Revoke Access via "Where You're Logged In"

  1. Open Instagram and go to your Profile
  2. Tap the three lines (☰) in the top right → Settings and privacy
  3. Scroll down to Accounts Center (or go directly to Security)
  4. Tap Password and security
  5. Tap Where you're logged in
  6. You'll see a list of all active sessions/devices
  7. Tap on any device you want to log out of → Log out
  8. To log out of all at once, tap Select all (if available) or remove each session individually

Method 2: Change Your Password (Forces Logout Everywhere)

This is the most reliable way to log out of all devices simultaneously:
  1. Go to Profile → Settings and privacy → Accounts Center
  2. Tap Password and security → Change password
  3. Set a new password and save
  4. Instagram will automatically log out all other sessions except the current one

Method 3: Via Desktop Browser

  1. Go to instagram.com and log in
  2. Click your profile picture → Settings
  3. Click Security → Where You're Logged In
  4. Click Log out of all sessions or remove individual devices

Tips:
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) under Security settings.
  • After logging out remotely, those devices will need your new password to log back in.

My Instagram account was logged in in multiple devices and somebody deleted one of my reels from my grid. How do I know that who did it?

Unfortunately, Instagram does not provide an activity log that shows who deleted a specific post. However, here's what you can do to investigate:

What Instagram Offers

1. Check "Login Activity" for Suspicious Access

  • Go to Settings → Accounts Center → Password and security → Where you're logged in
  • Look for unfamiliar devices, locations, or login times around when the reel was deleted
  • This won't tell you what they did, but confirms if someone else was active

2. Request Your Instagram Data

Instagram lets you download your account activity data:
  1. Go to Settings → Your activity → Download your information
  2. Select "Some of your information" and choose Account activity or Posts
  3. Request the data (Instagram sends it within 48 hours)
  4. Look for any login records or activity timestamps that seem suspicious
⚠️ This data shows what happened but generally not which device/person performed the action.

The Hard Truth

Instagram does not tell you which specific device or session deleted a post. There is no built-in audit trail that attributes individual actions (like deleting a reel) to a specific logged-in session.

What You Should Do Now

ActionWhy
Change your password immediatelyLocks out anyone with unauthorized access
Enable 2FAPrevents future unauthorized logins
Log out all other sessionsRemoves active access from other devices
Check trusted devices listRemove any devices you don't recognize
Review linked appsSettings → Security → Apps and websites — revoke suspicious third-party access

If You Believe It Was Unauthorized Access

  • Report it to Instagram: Settings → Help → Report a problem → "I was hacked"
  • Instagram's support may be able to look into account activity on their end, though this is not guaranteed
The best protection going forward is ensuring only you have access to your account.
