1. Single Best Answer (SBA)

2. Multiple Correct Answer Type

- Options are presented as combinations, e.g.:
- A — if a, b, and c are correct
- B — if a and c are correct
- C — if b and d are correct
- D — if all are correct
- You select one best combination option
- Same +1 / −⅓ marking applies (no partial credit)

Key Points to Remember
- Tie-breaking rule: If two candidates have equal scores, the one with fewer negative marks gets a higher rank. If still tied, the older candidate is ranked higher.
- Total marks: 200 (one mark per question)
- Unattempted questions carry no penalty — it is safe to skip doubtful questions.
- The exam covers all subjects from MBBS (1st year through final year).
Strategy tip: With −⅓ negative marking, you need to be at least 75% confident in an answer before attempting it to avoid an expected loss.
