Key Notes

Duration: 10 days for children <2 years or with severe symptoms (Harrison's, p. 1059)

Choose the 400 mg/57 mg per 5 mL high-dose suspension if prescribing the 90 mg/kg/day regimen, to avoid excess clavulanate
