He has since returned to MCM as a demonstrator in our Department of Physiology, and in that role I have watched him teach with the same patient, question-driven style he once brought to my own classroom — which tells me the instinct was never a phase. That instinct shows up clearly in his outside work. Dr. Haseeb co-authored a clinical audit at Rehman Medical Institute that identified an institutional bottleneck delaying early breastfeeding after birth, drove a policy change through two PDSA cycles, and nearly doubled early initiation rates as a result. It is careful, iterative, self-correcting work — exactly the disposition public health training is meant to sharpen, not manufacture from nothing. He has also, notably, kept showing up: to clinical audit workshops, to CancerCon18, to breastfeeding and maternal health sessions around MCM and PGMI that had no bearing on his own department's requirements. I mention this because sustained, unrewarded curiosity is harder to fake than a single strong project, and it is the trait I would bet on most.
