CT head ki midline mein jo patli safed line dikh rahi hai, woh falx cerebri hai, yani dono brain hemispheres ke beech ki normal dural membrane. Isme safedi calcification/ossification of falx ki wajah se lag rahi hai.
60 saal ki age mein ye aksar age-related, incidental normal finding hoti hai aur apne aap mein brain bleed ya tumor nahi hoti. CT calcification review mein falx ko common physiologic calcification site bataya gaya hai.
Lekin ek photo/single CT slice se final diagnosis nahi diya ja sakta. Radiologist ki complete CT report dekhein. Agar achanak weakness, bolne mein dikkat, behoshi, fits, severe headache, ya vomiting ho to emergency mein turant dikhayein.
