FDA INFUVITE ADULT prescribing information dilution compatibility intravenous infusion
IV multivitamin ko NS (normal saline) me mix karna product-specific hota hai. Exact procedure, dilution volume, rate, aur IV push allowed hai ya nahi, ye brand/formulation ke package insert + doctor order se confirm karna zaroori hai. Adult aur pediatric multivitamin alag hote hain.
Dene se pehle
- Doctor ka order check karein: patient, drug name/brand, adult vs pediatric formulation, dose, diluent, volume, rate, route.

Kya isme aur medicines mix kar sakte hain?

- exact concentrations,
- diluent,
- final volume,
- and contact time
ki pharmacy-approved compatibility documented ho.
Same IV line use karna ho to preferably separate lumen use karein. Nahi, multivitamin infusion shuru karne se pehle routine me koi aur IV push medicine dena zaroori nahi hoti.
Agar same IV cannula/line se koi aur prescribed IV push drug deni hai, to safe sequence usually:
- Current infusion stop/hold karein as per order
- NS flush karein, hospital protocol ke hisab se
- Prescribed IV push medicine ko uski own recommended rate se dein
- Dobara NS flush karein
- Phir multivitamin-in-NS infusion start karein
Important: Ek hi syringe me multivitamin ke saath ya multivitamin NS bag me dusri IV push medicine mix na karein, jab tak pharmacist ne exact compatibility confirm na ki ho.
