facial laceration AND wound assessment

Finding Sources
Site of injury: A laceration involving the right upper lip, extending through the upper labial mucosa/gingivobuccal sulcus adjacent to the right upper canine-incisor region. There is also a small superficial cut near the right nasal ala/nostril margin.
Approximate length: The main upper-lip laceration appears to be about 4-5 cm in total, with an intraoral component of roughly 2-3 cm.
A precise length cannot be determined from this photograph because there is no measurement scale. For documentation, measure the wound directly after cleansing and before repair.
