Neubrol Forte (also spelled Nuberol Forte) is a combination tablet manufactured by Searle Pakistan, containing:
  • Paracetamol BP 650 mg (analgesic/antipyretic)
  • Orphenadrine citrate BP 50 mg (skeletal muscle relaxant)

Dosage

Indications

  • Tension headache / occipital headache with neck/head muscle spasm
  • Acute and traumatic musculoskeletal conditions: sprains, strains, whiplash injuries, acute torticollis, prolapsed intervertebral disc
  • Rheumatoid arthritis (adjunct for muscle stiffness/pain)

Key Contraindications

  • Glaucoma
  • Prostatic hypertrophy / bladder neck obstruction
  • Myasthenia gravis
  • Esophageal spasm, pyloric or duodenal obstruction
  • Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or orphenadrine

Important Precautions

  • Do not exceed the prescribed dose — paracetamol overdose can cause serious hepatotoxicity
  • Avoid in significant liver impairment
  • Use with caution if taking other paracetamol-containing products (risk of cumulative toxicity)
  • Prescription-only medication
