Psychomotor correction
Assessment and correction of movement, posture, coordination, body schema, balance, motor planning, sensory-motor integration, and functional participation.
At a high level, rehabilitation is a goal-directed, patient-centered process that works to reduce impairment, prevent complications, restore activity, and improve participation in daily life. Physical therapy and massage are selected according to diagnosis, functional status, and risks; psychomotor correction is especially relevant where motor control, coordination, behavior, development, or cognition affects function.
