PROCEDURE PERFORMED: Nasal Bone Reduction u/GA
Post-operative Diagnosis: # Nasal Bone (i.e., Fracture Nasal Bone)
Procedure Notes:
- Painting & Draping done
- Local infiltration with 2% Lignocaine + Adrenaline given to the Nasal alae & lateral nasal wall
- Reduction done with Ash & Walsham forceps
- Deformity corrected
- Nasal Haemostasis achieved
- Nasal packing done both sides
- POP (Plaster of Paris) application with Nasal splint applied over dorsum of nose
- Procedure was uneventful
This is an operative note for a closed reduction of a fractured nasal bone performed under General Anaesthesia (GA). The procedure was completed without complications.
