explain me in hinglish in very simple terms
Yeh notes Eclampsia ke baare mein hain - ek serious pregnancy condition. Simple Hinglish mein samjhata hoon:
🤰 Eclampsia kya hai?
Definition: Jab severe pre-eclampsia ke saath full body ke seizures (fits) aane lagein - isko Eclampsia kehte hain.
Yaad rakho: Pre-eclampsia = BP high + protein in urine. Eclampsia = yeh sab + FITS aana
Types of Eclampsia (Seizure kab aayi?)

Atypical Eclampsia kya hai?
Yeh tab hota hai jab eclampsia unusual tarike se present ho. Iske signs hain:
- Seizure ka timing off ho:
- Delivery ke 48 hours BAAD aayi fit
- 20 weeks se PEHLE pregnancy mein fit aayi
- Zyada time tak unconscious rehna
- Neurological problems permanently rehna (persistent neurological deficit)
- Patient mein Pre-eclampsia ke normal criteria nahi milte, phir bhi fits aa rahi hain
IOC (Investigation of Choice): MRI karo
- MRI mein dikhai deta hai PRES (Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome) - brain ke peeche wale hisse mein swelling aati hai
Gestational Hypertension - Important Notes
Gestational HTN = Sirf BP high hai pregnancy mein, koi protein in urine nahi, koi organ damage nahi
- 50% cases mein Gestational HTN aage jaake Pre-eclampsia ban sakta hai - isliye dhyan rakho!
- Agar BP ≥ 160/110 mmHg ho - toh severe PE ki tarah treat karo
Diagnosis kaise confirm karein?
Agar patient pehli baar 20 weeks ke baad antenatal visit pe aaye, BP high mile, lekin:
- Protein in urine nahi hai
- Organ damage ke signs nahi hain
- Pehle ka BP history unknown hai
Toh provisional diagnosis = Gestational HTN dedo
Agle step: Delivery ke 12 weeks baad BP recheck karo
- BP normal ho gaya → Confirmed Gestational/Transient HTN tha
- BP abhi bhi high hai → Diagnosis change karo → Chronic HTN tha yeh actually
Ek line mein yaad karo:
Eclampsia = Pre-eclampsia + Fits | Antepartum = Most common + Worst | Gestational HTN = 50% chance PE banne ka
