How to change this dark theme

Asking for Preferences
To change the theme in this Orris chat interface, look for a theme toggle in the interface settings. Here's where to check:
  1. Top-right corner — Look for a sun/moon icon (☀️/🌙) or a settings gear icon (⚙️). Clicking it often toggles between light and dark mode directly.
  2. Settings / Profile menu — Click your profile picture or a menu icon, then look for Appearance, Theme, or Display settings.
  3. Sidebar — Some chat interfaces have a collapsible sidebar with theme options at the bottom.
If you're not seeing any of these, the interface you're using may not currently support theme switching — in that case, you could use your browser's or OS-level dark mode override:
  • Browser (Chrome/Edge): Install a browser extension like Dark Reader and toggle it off for this site to force a light theme.
  • Windows: Settings → Personalization → Colors → Choose your mode (Light/Dark).
  • macOS: System Settings → Appearance → Light/Dark/Auto.
Can you describe what you see on screen? I can give more precise guidance if you share a screenshot or describe the UI layout.

Checking Date & Time
In the Orris app, here's how to change the dark theme to light (or another theme):
  1. Tap your profile picture or avatar — usually in the top-left or top-right corner of the app.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon ⚙️).
  3. Tap Appearance or Theme.
  4. Select Light, Dark, or System Default — choosing Light or System Default will switch away from dark mode.

If you can't find it there, try:
  • Long-pressing the settings or home screen for more options.
  • Checking under Display or Preferences within settings.
If the Orris app you're using doesn't have a built-in theme toggle yet, the quickest workaround is to enable Light Mode at the OS level:
  • Android: Settings → Display → Dark theme → Off
  • iPhone/iPad: Settings → Display & Brightness → Light
This will override the dark appearance for apps that follow the system theme.
Would you like more specific steps? If you can describe what you see on the settings screen, I can guide you more precisely.
