I will tell you my answers of these, and you're gonna correct me if I'm wrong. These are connective adverbs / transition words fill-in-the-blank questions. Each blank requires a specific type of connector (Time, Contrast, Cause & Effect, Sequence, Emphasis, Addition) based on the label given for that blank number.
Here are your quick exam tips before we start:

Quick Tips for Board Exam - Transition Words Questions

1. Map the number to the type first Each question gives you a key like "1-Time | 2-Contrast | 3-Sequence..." - before reading the passage, write down which blank = which type. This prevents confusion under pressure.
2. Know your word banks by type
TypeCommon Words
TimeWhen, After, Before, As soon as, Meanwhile, Once
SequenceFirst, Then, Next, Finally, After that, Subsequently
ContrastHowever, Although, Despite, Even though, On the other hand, Yet
Cause & EffectBecause, Since, Therefore, As a result, So, Consequently
EmphasisIn fact, Indeed, Especially, Above all, Clearly, Most importantly
AdditionMoreover, Furthermore, Also, In addition, Besides, Not only...but also
3. Read the sentence logic, not just the blank The sentence meaning tells you which specific word fits - two "Sequence" words like First and Finally are not interchangeable. Match logic + type together.
4. Watch for position clues
  • Blank at the start of a sentence = connector word/phrase (e.g., However, / As a result,)
  • Blank mid-sentence = subordinating conjunction (e.g., although, because, when)

Now go ahead - give me your answers for Q1 to Q4 and I'll correct them one by one!

So the question number one, I have by the time, or later, to A was by the time or later, B, however, C, because, D, afterward, E, in fact, F, and. Question number two, A, first, B, but, C, indeed, D, earlier, E, consequently, F, and. Three, A, also, B, by the time, C, however, D, so, E, in fact, F, subsequently. Four, A, but, B, furthermore, C, next, D, in fact, E, thus, F, and. Mark these.
