Priya was diagnosed with pontine infarct occlusion on 4th april . The doctor advised medicinal treatment instead of surgical intervention due to like risk involved and said the first three days will be critical. Priya was doing well till 7th April. On 7th april extubation trial was done on her without telling the family , immediately after which she was reintubated. On 8th April doctors again didi extubation followed by re intubation this time informing family. After which the doctor took consent of family for tracheostomy . But the doctors didn't performed tracheostomy. On the same day her condition started deteriorating causing PSVT and eventually she died on the night of 8th April.
