C/O - Classic symptoms: high fever, headache, bodyache, fatigue, catarrhal symptoms (runny nose/sore throat), loss of appetite.
Most Probable Diagnosis - Viral Fever / URTI / Flu-like illness
Rx (Prescriptions):
  1. Tab. Paracetamol 500mg - TDS x 5 days (antipyretic/analgesic)
  2. Tab. Cetirizine 10mg - OD at night (antihistamine for catarrhal symptoms)
  3. Tab. Pantoprazole 40mg - OD (gastric protection since paracetamol is on empty stomach risk)
  4. Syp. Benadryl if cough present
  5. ORS / Electrolytes for hydration
  6. Tepid sponging for high fever
Advice - CBC, MP/Widal, Dengue NS1 Ag, LFT, Urine R/M (always rule out Dengue/Malaria/Typhoid)
Lifestyle Modification - Bed rest, fluids, light diet, steam inhalation
Complications - Febrile seizures, secondary bacterial infection (pneumonia/sinusitis), Dengue/Malaria if fever persists >5 days, hepatitis, encephalitis (rare)
R/A 3 days - Reinvestigate if fever persists beyond 5 days
